Vocational Schools of UkraineTo provide an adequate information support to VET system policy development in Ukraine, project aimed at building search database providing information on VET Schools in this country was launched. The project was initiated by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and is financially supported by the International Renaissance Foundation. The project is targeted at assisting the Ukrainian education system to transform into the European one through the use of a search database of Ukrainian VET schools with the help of Internet technologies. The database is compiled in two languages:Ukrainian and English, which enables prompt and handy context search for any VET Schools in Ukraine, its addresses, training and programs offered, names of persons in charge, etc. The information available is updated on a continuous basis by National Observatory of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. When implemented, the project will promote democratization processes on its way of integration into the European space and will ensure information support to the educational policy of Ukraine. The database contains the information about 966 Vocational Schools.
